i had an medicinal abortion(cytotec)august 1st when i started bleed and last for a week(august 1-8)then stop for a week temporary.(august 15-september 5)i had bleed but a normal bleed,my doctor prescribed me antibiotic and methergin tab between this 3 weeks.when my period stops on september 5.i had sex with my husband as i don't have bleeding for ten days,after sex in the other morning i had bleed again september 21 on 26 i used emergency contraception but since i had using this contraceptive pills my bleeding not stopping till this present day.i had a follow up check-up 3 weeks after my abortion but my doctor said everything is normal...but when i started to take cotrceptive pills i had a bloodclots that i don't have in the past 3 weeks straight,not like my 1st week of bleeding i had a lot of bloodclots and took hard,thick 3 inches bloot clot.i've been only 5 weeks pregnant since i took the cytotec.dr.shan is it normal that my bleed is continue even im using contraceptive pills??im almost finishing the 21 tab,i had 8 pills left..should i still continue the pills??is there any problem with that??please need an urgent answer..thank you and god bless.

Yes, it is annoying but it is normal.
after a Cytotec abortion bleeding patterns tend to be irregular for a prolonged time.
It make take three months to become regular again. So there are no safe days.
Its better to continue with the contraceptive pill as if everything was normal.
Do not stop the contraceptive pill. Better to also use condoms until the periods are normal again.
