Abortion is very, very dangerous. It can kill you, or cause you serious harm. You might also lose interest in your studies. It can have a terrible emotional impact on a woman. Abortion can also harm your future children, and it can make you prone to some serious diseases such as breast cancer. If you have breast cancer in your immediate family, you can count on getting it while you are still young. This is a particularly vicious form of breast cancer, which kills 1/4 of its victims. You deserve better.

There are organizations all over the United States that help women in your position. You don't even need to have an abortion. These organizations help meet whatever needs you have. You have a couple of options. You can get help so you can raise your baby, or you can choose adoption. Neither of these choices is easy, but everyone I've talked to (a couple thousand women) who mentioned it said abortion is the WORST choice. It is the MOST difficult. If you choose adoption, you can keep in touch with the family and know how your baby is doing, or even spend time with your baby.
Please keep in mind that your baby already has a heartbeat. This means there are also brain waves, because a heart won't beat without them. If you are counting from the probable date of conception, your baby also already has eyes and fingers.
