Its about my girlfriend.
On 62nd day of pregnancy A medical store person with whoom i had consulted gave me tablets which causes miscarriage, but it did not work so he gave MTP KIT from CIPLA (its abortion pills),
On 66th day of pregnancy (12-June-2012)she took mifepristone and 2 days later on 14-June-2012 she took only one dose (2 tablets) of Misoprostal as she had heavy bleeding for 5-6 hours and also expelled a tissue like substance 2 times, first one was size of a grape and next tissue was of length of our middle finger but more broad in size and so the medical store person with whoom I was in contact said to not give the remaining two tablet of Misoprostal.
He gave tablets to stop bleeding, which is commonly used by girls during their periods. (total 6 tablets to be consumed in 2 days).
After that for next 2 days she had comparatively more bleeding compared to periods (brownish bleeding with dust like particles).
Then she had bleeding and pain same like periods for next 6-7 days i.e till (24-25-June-2012).(firt2-3 days brownish bleeding and then normal coloured bleeding as in periods)
Now the pain and bleeding has stopped from last 2 days and she doesnt feel any weakness, craving for spicy foods etc. But today she said that on pressing the breasts there is little bit discharge coming out of nipples.
Going to the hospital/ doctors clinic is the last option for us. Please suggest what should we do to check whether everything is normal or not. Should we check by doing home pregnancy test now or wait?
ANSWER: That can be normal. She should not squeeze the breast so this can stop. You can do a pregnancy test in 1 week. It should be negative.

QUESTION: Thanks a lot for your earlier reply. After posting the question in next 5 days she bleeded two timws (very little). Today ( July 07, 2012) she did a home pregnancy test and it was negative. We are very much relieved now. But the thing that I am worried about is that , is their a posibility that any bad blood or any other thing still remains in her body which can cause her harm in the long run?
Is it necessary to go to doctor and check through sonography whether the pregnancy is completely terminated? (She is resisting too much to go to the doctor).
If everything is OK then when will her regular periods start again?

AnswerYou can have bleeding for up to 80 days after taking the MTP kit. It has not been 4 weeks so this bleeding pattern is normal. With a negative pregnancy test, there is no need for an ultrasound unless the bleeding becomes heavier. Clots larger than a quarter or soaking more than 1 pad in an hour.
