QuestionHi - It seems no matter what sort of manicure i have done- i wind up with tiny, watery bumps along my cuticles and around my nails that itch like crazy! I scratch so much that i make myself bleed at times, it even keeps me awake at night! I really want my nails looking nice as I work in a NYC office and all the ladies get manicures. I have tried acrylic tips, extensions, gel manicures, silk and linen wraps. What is left?

You have developed or already have a SERIOUS sensitivity to the acrylate that is in ALL of these products. And you HAVE tried them ALL.
The only advice I can give you right this minute is to go to an allergy specialist and have yourself tested for product allergy.
You should be able to get manicures, what you are describing to me is called "enhancements." A manicure once every one or two weeks could help your own nails grow and look nice without enhancements, just in case you can't wear them. Where have you gone to get your nails worked on previously? What kind of shop was it? I am trying to figure out if the products used on you were used properly and are actually professional products. Do not assume that just because nails are done there, that they are being done properly OR with pro products!
Try and give me some more information, and do it while you make an appointment with an allergy specialist!
