QUESTION: When I said I don't want fake nails, i was thinking about that nails that you can see them in a store and you need to put some solution to glue them to the natural nails. Don't want that because of the damage to the natural nails.
If I will decide to have gel - that means the tech gonna put a fake nail over may natural, or just apply a coat or more of gel? Because if it is just applying a coat or more of gel I am OK with that as long as is gonna be less damage than the acrylic.
And how do I ask for if I would like to have a coat or more of gel over my natural nails? I this a usually service or I am so out of the problem?

And Just so you are clear on things It is not the acrylic that is bad for you. Not is the Gel bad for you! its the Filing that is harmful to your nails! So no matter what you put on top of your nails it will have the same effects in the long run. Be sure your nail technician does not using a drill or excessive filing and you will be fine!
