Questionhello my name is jake about twenty days ago I smashed my thumb in a car door right on the cutical it is obvious I am going to loose the nail sould I go see a doctor? I dont have the money to see one though so if there is anything you can suggest about I could do without the help of a doctor. and I am also worried that it is going to become infected. what is the best thing I can put on the nail to fight infection? I also wanted to know if there was any kind of nail regrowth gel or anything that I could purchase from a store that might help it grow back?

Very sorry to hear you got your thumb smashed. It is a bit hard to say how it looks now but if you did not get an infection after twenty days you probably will not get one. Keep it as clean as yo can, do not put pressure on it and let nature do it's work. You can use a cuticle moisturizer such as EzFlow Love or 2 in 1 balance and treat your growing nail with Natural Nail treatment which makes the nail stronger and promotes growth.
