Eyebrow Growth Solutions: Addressing Sparse Brows Naturally
QuestionPlease I know someone who needs help with regard to eyebrow problem. His case is a bit different: he never plucked the brows but yet they don't grow much. His eyebrows are so scanty to be noticed at all. So I request you help me to help him by suggesting what medication to take, or what to avoid, to improve eyebrow growth as much as possible. Thanks.
Answer This is kind of a tricky one but I will try my best to help, one proven product that will increase growth if applied as directed is latisse. It's a prescription strength lash growing product. So you would have to find a doctors office that sold it and maybe meet with a doctor first. It's indicated for eyelashes but the rep that sells my office told us it's safe for brows also and we have two patients that have successfully used it. It's pricey $120 but it works. There are other products like revitalash ($125) and Jan Marini's Marini Lash that help with growth. I've also heard of people using rogaine their eyebrows, but please check with a doctor before he does it.
If he has brows but they are light colored he could go get them tinted, it's like hair dye for the brows, it's temporary but safe and cost effective, maybe $20-$35 per visit depending on where you live.
I don't have a whole lot of suggestions on what to avoid that will hinder eyebrow growth because I don't know of any medications honestly. I take biotin every day for healthy hair growth.
