Retin A Alternatives: Over-the-Counter Options & Information

WOuld you know if there is a real good strong over the
counter Retin A instead of the prescription stuff since
that costs so much.

Hi Debbie,

Retin A is something that you can only get with a prescription especially if you want it strong. Over the counter products that you could get would contain a derivative called retinol which is a lower concentration. Since it is less potent the results will be gradual but it is much more gentle on the skin. Over the counter retinol products would be more cost effective as well but you won't get the same strength as with the prescription retin a. Hope this helps.
