QUESTION: by cutting sharper i mean getting hair to cut evenly like the barbers cut it. i've had some hair cutting experience and have always been faced with the problem of an uneven cut. any tips on getting a good clean even cut?
ANSWER: It all depends on what kind of hair you are cutting! But for all hair you should ALWAYS go back over it for course short hair to make it nice and even I would cut against the grain then go back over it with the grain with a smaller blade for example with a Caesar say your using a 1 1/2 against the grain then you should go back over it with the grain with a 1 this is called "laying the hair down". Because when you cut against the grain you are forcing the hair to stick up almost looking fuzzy, So you would need to lay it back down. remember with course hair to get it all even cut against the grain some barbers do not use this method but trust me it works and you will get done a lot faster!

AnswerTo line hair properly you need a mirror remember the mirror never lies meaning if your looking at a persons edge up and it looks ok then you look at it in the mirror and it looks crooked then it's crooked always face the person towards you mirror then do the edge up starting at the temple working down by the side burns doing both side once done you go straight across the forehead then do you points
