Best Propane/Oxygen Torch Recommendations for Hobbyists

Hello!
I was just reading some previous questions that were listed regarding problems with melting metal. I too am having the same problem and would like to invest in a better torch. I have oxygen and propane at home already, do you have any recommendations for what brand of torch to get? Something not too pricey...

Howdy,

I have a variety of torches.
I would look out for a jewellery supply house in your vicinity and talk to them. They would ave the more specialised units....alternatively you could look at gas supply, but they probably wouldn't know quite so much about it.
In Australia you would likely look for Proiimus or Micro=- Torch.
You want to get one with a few different nozzles so that you can heat and melt at a variety of strengths.
