QuestionQUESTION: Do you have any info on the Wall Lenk LSP-60 torch? I would use it to solder very small joins such as a jump ring.
ANSWER: Hi David,
This torch is not made to use with gold or silver, it is more for lead solder.
You are not very explicit on your question and hope my answer will help.
Thanks

QUESTION: Orlando-
Thank you for your prompt reply to my question. This is a great service and I will surely use it more in the future.
I really like the idea of using disposable canisters of fuel for several reasons, including availability, size, weight and safety.
I am currently using a propane/air torch called the EZ torch, sold by Otto Frei. I am very satisfied with it except I would like to find a torch with a smaller flame for very small silver-soldered joins. I have been looking at butane/air pencil torches such as the Bernzomatic and several no-name torches available on line or at my local Home Depot or Harbor Freight stores.
I recently discovered the Wall Lenk torch at a local store and was wondering if there are any reviews of it available. It looks to be well made, but then so does the Bernzomatic, which I have been warned about due to poor quality control.
Thank you for your time,
David Mcininch
AnswerHi David,
No need for a new torch set, all you have to do is use a smaller tip on the existing torch, you can also make a tip, all you have to do is solder a piece of silver tube of the size you want and at least 1/2 inch long to the tip of your torch and you will have the nicest thinnest flame.
Hope it helps,
