How to Achieve a Silver Drizzle Effect on Stone: Techniques & Alternatives

Question
Is it possible to dip a stone into recently molten silver...
without having to stone explode?
And if not, what would be the ideal way to get a stone to look like pure silver was drizzled or poured over it?
(exampl: A Chocolate Dipped Strawberry)

Answer
Greetings,

I doubt that you would be able to control well enough the molten metal to achieve your goal.
I would suggest either making the piece in silver to resemble the molten look and then set your stone, or alternatively you could melt casting wax to the way that you wish and then have this cast, after which you could set the stone.

Hope thsi helps, Cheers, P
