Bud & Blossom Jewelry: History & Age Estimation

Question
I found a wedding band in my grandmother things.  It's marked "BUD & BLOSSOM 14K"  Is this the jeweler, and can you estimate the age of the ring?

Answer
Followup 8/24/06 Thank you for your inquiry. I did find out that Bud & Blossom was a line produced by Michael Levy Jewelry Corp. in New York City and they were in business in 1934. Hope this helps

Thank you for your inquiry. Sounds like you have a lovely ring. All the markings are there - just need to interpret them. I haven't been able to link "Bud & Blossom" to any design or manufacturer. I do know there was a poem with that name....The Hallmark could be Hallmark Findings, Inc. who were active in Hicksville, Long Island/Warwick Rhode Island until 1973. They made primarily findings so they could have made the ring base. You should have the ring professionally appraised and perhaps they can find out more about the inscription as well. I do not give appraisals or valuations on items, but you can try one of the online appraisal services listed below:
