Leopard Necklace
i have a vintage necklace that has "disks" of real leopard fur. Each disk is separated by a green glass bead. I have not been able to find any other fur related pieces of jewelry on the web. I think is is 1940's or 1950's
AnswerHello Maggie and thank you for your inquiry. I, too, have been unable to find any jewelry matching this piece. Valuing it would be difficult. Also would depend on the type of glass bead - art glass ?, blown, jade ?. What type of chain is at the back. Do you know where it came from - original owner or are there any other identifying marks ? This may be one of those pieces that you just have to value high i.e. $100.00 and then adjust if the piece doesn't sell. Sorry I could'nt help you further.
