Selling or Recycling Silver from Old Electronics: A Guide

We have a small portion of silver that was used in old style electrical components. I have no idea of the purity but it has to have some value to those who can process it.  Please give me some idea how  to approach reasonable disposal of this.  Thank you.

Can you send me a picture of your items, a refiner will be able to help you but you will need massive quantities to deal with them or they wont touch it....try your local jeweler and perhaps by actually seeing the items and if its not too difficult to remove they will do it for you...otherwise I doubt anyone will take the time to remove the silver content, just not worth it.
