QUESTION: rod... my mother surname is Keady.. my uncle and aunt just visited OZ from o/seas and i thought i would start digging around again... i found from prev family trees that it is best to see what trees may have been done before... cheers
AnswerHi Chris,
sorry I didnt see the follow up to your last email . This is very interesting
From which country are you from ? Ireland ? All I know about Ireland is that Tony Keady was a great Hurling champion and that the name Keady has nothing to do with Keady in Armagh. We have adopted a coat of arms weve been using for nearly 20 years . my father who is now 84 changed the wording on the crest as is required by heraldry..it used to say " Conlan Abu" meaning ...Go Conlan , a battle cry or somthing like that ... Ill email it to you wen you email me your email address.
Where was your mother born ?
Ive records of our family but lose my grandfather when tracing his arrival from England .
They arrived at Fremantle Western Australia and is buried in Karakatha Cemetary in Perth .
Id like to know more .. you can email me easier at rodkeady@mac.com
cheers Rod
