White Gold vs. Platinum vs. Palladium: A Cost-Effective Alternative

I know white gold has rhodium. What did it used to be made out of? If I didn't want to keep replating my white gold set, how expensive would it be to get it redone in platinum?

Hi Dawn!

Sorry to tell you but Platinum is rhodium plated too!  If you want to go with something that looks great just as it is, is making new inroads in the jewelry market, and is somewhat exotic- try palladium.  There are challenges when it comes to resizing- are your fingers the same size year in and year out?  You might want to keep away from the potato chips and focus on fresh vegetables.  LOL.
