Identifying an Old Gold Ring: Is It Real & What's Its Value?

found a gold ring in a old tin
it say maxmilano emprador and a piture of a man on it i think it a type of cone clamp on the bottom of the coin it say estados unidos mexicanos and a picture of a falcon.
were will the date be on this ring?

I am not familiar with that ring....
yes couple things you can do you can bring it into a jewelry shop or a palm shop..
they can test the gold to see how pure it is ...this should not cost anything or very little.
Also they will know if it is just layered gold....
on also you should find a person who is an expert for and estate jewelry..
they would really have to see it first hand....
