Targeting Belly Fat: Expert Advice on Diet & Exercise

Any suggestions on what to do to target belly fat.  Should I cut out carbs? start jogging?  doing both? will walking do it?  what do you suggest?  Thanks

Hi Mae,

Belly fat can sometimes be an indication of excess cortisol in the system which is a stress hormone. So you need to de-stress as much as you can.
In terms of diet I would try to lose fat as a whole over body thing. So cut starch at night and lower bad fat intake as much as possible.

Plenty of water. I would do morning fasted interval work. Which means doing some short running sprints first thing in the morning before you eat. Try 30 seconds hard then 1 minute easy and do 4-8 of them. Jogging is also good as a change up..
