Hydroxycut for Women: User Experience & Fitness Journey

Question

Hi there.  I joined the Y April 7th and began taking Hydroxycut Hardcore at the same time according to directions.  I am doing cardio (eliptical and treadmill) and some basic weights on the LifeFitness machines - I try to spread out my time on all the machines during my visits.  I go to the Y 6 out of 7 days a week.  I've started watching my eatig habits - reducing portions by 30%, eliminated chocolate, desserts, white sugar and watching creamy sauces.  I only allow myself one or no bread per day.  My goal is to lose 30lbs overall.  I have noticed a few changes in my appearance, as well as lost 7 lbs in the first week, then nothing since.  So.... where to from here?  I love working out - the sweating and 'burn' feel great, but I'm concerned that if I don't see more progress soon I'll give up.  Also, I am a big coffee drinker and have had to really reduce the number of cups I drink a day because I was suffering from sleeplessness.  I was nearing the end of my first bottle of Hydroxycut Hardcore and saw the one for women, so I opted to buy that one versus hardcore when I'm ready for a new bottle.  Also, I experience hives a number of times a day, and my family is convinced its from the caffeine from the coffee and the hydroxycut.  Can you give me some guidance and counsel on where I'm at overall?

Answer
Hi Kelly,

okie dokie... sounds like you have a good plan going right now...

a couple hings as to why your not seeing results.

1.  Need more rest in between exercise sessions

2.  Need to bump up your intensity.

3.  Need to focus a bit more on weights to speed up your metabolism.

It's important that you don't give up...You're going to the gym 6 of 7 days a week which is AMAZING ..but if you go too hard to fast and expect to see changes quickly...well you're gonna be dissapointed.

What you need to do and this is just a recommendation...

Try to decrease the amount of times you go to the gym maybe like 3 times a week.  What I want you to do is combine your resistance training with your cardio (circuit training) so you work your heart and muscles at the same time.

Also try to limit your breaks between exercises to less than 30 seconds.  This will ensure that you're heart rate stays elevated throughout your workout session.  45 mintues would be really good.

Here are a few examples of what I'm talking about.

In regards to your coffee..ease off a bit cause that's gonna dehydrate your body A LOT, which is not what you need when you want to lose weight.  In terms of the hives it could be something in the hydroxycut that's reacting to your body.

Hope that helps and keep up the awesome job!
