Pregnancy & Coughing: Can it Cause Water Breaking?

Hi, I asked a question but got a response from you stating you had already answered my question once before.  However, I never received any reply from you.  Would you mind answering again?  I had asked if coughing really hard can cause the bag of waters to break at 25 weeks pregnant.

Sorry Jade, you kind of got lost in the shuffle. Here goes- NO- what you describe will not happen. Coughing hard enough to pop the membranes would only happen if you were near term and carrying twins so that the membranes were under a great deal of strain OR if you were producing far too much amniotic fluid and the membranes were again overstretched.
