I was spotting a week or so ago for 2 days and thought it was my period. I've been cramping the last few days and my breasts are sore. I took a home preg. test today and it came out positive. I cant see my doctor till next week. This indicates to me that I'm pregnent. Its my first I'm 31 years old with no insurance. Can you give me some guidance. I have not said anything yet to my boyfriend of all most a year

When was the first day of your last period? YOu should make an appointment with an obstetrian when you are 8 weeks from the first day of your last period. It is common to have some cramping in early pregnancy. However, if you start to bleed along with the cramps, see a doctor right away to rule out the possibility of a miscarriage. There is nothing else to do other that to start some antenatal vitamins. If the home pregnancy test was positive, you are definitely pregnant.
