Negative Pregnancy Test, But Possible Pregnancy? Symptoms & What To Do

Hello i'm here to ask you a question to see if i might be pregnant. I took 3 test and all of them said that i was not pregnant. My peroid is 10 days late and i have some of the symptoms of being pregnant. My boyfriend thinks i am pregnant. Would it be to early to tell? My sister had a hard time about finding if she was pregnant " she took 7 regural home test and 3 blood test done till she found out that she was pregnant" Would I be like her than. My last peroid was march 17 2004. Please help me! Need any more information just ask. Thank you

If you have a normal 28 day cycle (from the first day of your period until the first day of your next period) ovulation usually occurs on cycle day #14. YOu can only become pregnant if you have unprotected sex on cycle day #13, 14, 15, or 16. If you did become pregnant on any of those days, a pregnancy test would not show a positive result until 14-21 days later (March 30-6). If you have a negative result, you probably are not pregnant. The earliest signs of pregnancy are breast tenderness, fatigue, and nausea. If you have any doubts, take a blood test for pregnancy (Beta HCG) which is a bit more accurate. If that is also negative it is almost certain that you are not pregnant. However, if you miss your period in May, repeat a pregnancy test.
