Clomid & IUI Success Rates: What to Expect

I am 30 years old and have a 13 year old daughter, my last period was mid July.   What percentage of women in your practice get pregnant after iui and clomid with 3 follicles over 21mm and 29 million good sperm?  How many cycles do you recommend?  I can do a pregnancy test Friday the 13th of August, did IUI on the 30th of July and ovulated before 12pm on the 31st(ultrasound).

If you ovulated on July 31, and had IUI on July 30, the earliest that you should perform a pregnancy test is 14-21 days later. The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after you miss your next period (or 21 days after ovulation). That would be on August 14. If you are not pregnant, I would only stay on the Clomid for 6 cycles. I do not know what dosage your were given, but I would suggest that you increase the dosage every other month for the six months. If you are not pregnant within 6 months, Clomid is not usually effective.
