QuestionAge 32, no children, Aug. 24.
Shoul I still do stomach exercises while trying to conceive. Also, when do you think I have the best change of conceiving?
AnswerExercise of any type is O.K. while you are trying to conceive and once you are pregnant. You can continue to do abdominal exercise as long as you still have a waist. Once you are pregnant, and reach 20 weeks gestation, your waist will disappear and you will have to stop abdominal exercises. If you have a normal 28 day cycle (from the first day of your period until the first day of your next period) ovulation occurs on cycle day #14. You can only conceive if you have unprotected sex on cycle day #13,14, 15, or 16. If you do, indeed, conceive on one of those days, a pregnancy test will not show a positive result until 14-21 days later. The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after you miss your period. Since your last period started on August 24, you probably will ovulate on September 6 and can become pregnant if you have sex on September 5,6,7, or 8. Good Luck.
