QuestionI am 32 years old. I have one 11 year old son. I am
pregnant and my due date is January 20th. My daughter has
been very active these last few months since I started
feeling her at 16 weeks. I am worried that she is too active
right now since I read that they are suppose to slow down
closer to the due date. SHE is more active than ever! I dont
know when she sleeps! She is always moving and craming
her legs in my ribs. She has become very painful when she
moves, its like there is no more room and she is mad! My
husband watches her and cant believe how she pushes my
stomach out. I think he's getting a little scared.
Should I worry? Could she be in danger? HELP! thanks
AnswerThe more active the baby is, the better. As long as there is good fetal movement, there is less of a chance that anything is amiss. Sometimes the baby will slow down as the ratio of the size of the baby and the room in the uterus shrinks. However, I would rather have an extremely active baby than one that is sluggish. Don't worry.
