Progesterone Overdose in Early Pregnancy: Risks and What to Do

Hi. I am on progesterone to maintain pregnancy. I am about 7 weeks pregnant and I may have taken 2 doses. Will this hurt me or my baby?

What type of progesterone are you taking? (Prometrium, Crinone, or progesterone suppositories). The double dose will not hurt the pregnancy or the baby. HOwever, I would stop taking all types of progesterone when you reach 12 weeks gestation. By then, the placenta will maintain the pregnancy.
