QuestionHi, I am 21 and stopped
taking Yasmin on the 29th of July, had withdrawl bleeding on August 3rd. My husband and I activly had unprroteced sex until day 14. Now, I am exausted, tender breast, weepy, nauseas, and just don not feel right. I don't know how long my cycle should be and when I should wait to take a test, not knowing is killing me. I have also had a slightly elevated temp for the past few days and my CM is still eggy and stretchy. We are not trying and if we are pregnant is it safe?
Thank you
AnswerIf you stopped the pill on July 29 and had bleeding on August 3, then you may have ovulated as early as August 16. You could have conceived if you had unprotected sex on August 15,16,17, or 18. If you did, indeed, become pregnant on one of those days, a pregnancy test will not show a positive result until 14-21 days later. The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after you miss your next period.
