Understanding a Bump Above the Belly Button During Pregnancy: Is It Normal?

hello. i have a strange bump right above my belly button, like a knuckle pushing on my skin from the inside, it becomes bigger when ilaugh.i am 7 months pregnant. my last ultra sund was a few weeks ago (it was there when the ultrasound was done) and nothing was said about it. even when i laid down for the baby doppler, nothing was said. it doesn't protrude when i'm layig down. i have my glucose test on jan 6th can i wait till then to bring it up or should i go in sooner?

You may have an umbilical hernia. This may cause it to protrude when you cough or laugh and will not show up on a sonogram.There is not much you can do at this time. After the delivery of the baby, a surgeon should evaluate it and see if it is, indeed, a hernia, and whether it should be repaired or not.
