hi i'm ivy. i had my sonogram last week due to ammenorhea. i just wan't to ask, ENDOMETRIUM: 0.2 cm, hypoechoic with intact subendometrial halo, UTERUS: is retroverted with normal contourand measures 6.3x3.5x3.4cm. The myometrial vessels are prominent CERVIX: measures 2.8x2.4x2.2cm CUL-DE-SAC is smooth with no free fluid. what does it means? please help

It is a perfectly normal sonogram. Your endometrium is only 0.2cm in thickness and tht can explain why you are not bleeding regularly. You may need some estrogen supplementation in orcer to increase the endometrial lining, so you can bleed.

You may have to "prime" your endometrium fist. HOwever, it was a perfectly normal sonogram. DepoProvera has three annoyomg side effects: It can cause a complete cesation of your period, it can cause irregular cycles, or it can cause unpredictable bleeding at various times of the cycle. These side effects can continue for many months even after stopping the shots. Once you are ovulating regularly again, you should be able to conceive.
AnswerThe sonogram was negative for signs of pregnancy. Did you take a pregnancy test at any time? You can take a blood test for pregnancy, twice, 48 hours apart. if both results show a value of less than 5, you arfe definitely not pregnant. The bloating of your abdomen may be due to sequestration of gas in your intestines. Since pregnancy is ruled out, you should consult with an internist (general medical doctor) to assess your complaints. I have not heard of your symptoms being caused by the use of DepoProvera.
