QuestionWhat is happening? My pregnancy test was positive. My last period was Feb 15. At week 6, mild nausea began for 5 or 6 days, but it has subsided now at week 7 to minimal or none for 4 days. I have other symptoms -- breast tenderness, fatigue, increased appetite, vaginal discharge. I am 30 years old with no children. Could the fact that the nausea is gone a sign that things are not right?
AnswerYou do not have to have nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, but it is common up to 15 weeks. The nausea may come back prior to 15 weeks. If you continue to have the other symptoms of pregnancy and you hada positive pregnancy test, there is nothing to worry about.
