QuestionHi there, My last period started April 19th and I had sex on April 20th and my husband ejaculated inside me. My period lasted approximately 8 days but prior to April 19th, I spotted for 12 days, not sure why that happend. I took 3 pg test and all were negative. So now today, May 2nd,2006 I am spotting brownish,pink and my period just ended 5 days ago. What could be going on? My periods are sometimes regular and sometimes irregular so I never know when I am ovulating.

Sounds like an irregular period once again; the fact that the blood is brownish makes me think that it is old blood and not fresh (which would be red).
I suppose there are a bunch of things it could be, for you it could just be normal, since you have irregular periods. I would have to recommend for you to go to your gynecologist and see what is up with all the spotting. Especially if you are trying to conceive.
of course anything is possible, you could be pregnant, and the tests just may be done too early to pick it up. I dont seriously think you are pregnant, but it is possible and I coudnt say for sure. Try testing again, and check with your doctor. I am sure he/she can recommend something to make your periods more regular if you are trying to get pregnant.
