Answer
Eclampsia is a condition where the patient is having seizures and can lead to the demise of the patient and the baby.. The condition of "preeclampsia" will lead to eclampsia Preeclamsia is a disease with high blood pressure, proteinuria ( protein in the urine) and edema (swelling). Severe preeclampsia can have hemolysis, low platelets, elevated liver function studies, along with high blood pressure, proteinuria, and edema. They should have admitted her  earlier and deliver her when she got there. I do not know what her her condition on admission to the hospital. I would speak to her obstetrician, if  you want more information
