Questioni'm 7 months pregnant turning 8 on the 20th. im a teen-ager and am
really concerned about myself and my baby. as for now, i have already
gained 5kg...(i was not underweight or overweight to begin with)... i
don't know if im gaining the right amount...if it's too much or too
little. another thing is, i used to have a very active lifestyle and a firm
fit body... and i want to know how long will it take for me to get rid
of this preg.weight. and lastly, how is breasfeeding gonna help me lose

You want to gain about 11-15kg during your pregnancy. So, you need to gain some more weight. Espeically if you were small to begin with, you should gain more towards 15kg. It takes everybody a different length of time to lose the weight after pregnancy. If you breastfeed, you burn an extra 500 calories a day nursing the baby. It also increases your metabolism. If you nurse the baby and concentrate on eating healthy and exercising after giving birth, you will be back to your pre-pregnancy weight in no time. Good luck!
