Motorcycle Trip During Ovulation: Risks & Considerations

I have average cycle lengths of 28 days since going off the pill  in April.  We are attempting to get pregnant this month for the first time and wouldn't you know - the timing is not ideal with our vacation plans.  We are scheduled to go on a 4 day motorcycle ride on days 18-21 of this months cycle.  Assuming I ovulate around day 14 and did conceive, it will be just a few days after that we would be on the bikes. I have read all different points on the internet about this but nothing regarding early pregnancy concerns with riding a motorcyle. I ride a Sportster which is not a touring bike and doesn't have the greatest suspension (I feel and bounce with every bump.)  Should I be considering not going or am I worrying too much?  Obviously, if I am find that I am pregnant the week after - I will no longer ride.  Just concerned about the ride affecting implantation etc.

Implantation typically occurs about a week after conception. You would be right on the edge of that for timing. I really think you will be fine with the trip. There would be much more concern about it if you were a couple who had been trying for years and on fertility meds and the trip was taking place about a week later. If I were in your place - I would go ahead and go and not give it a second thought. Just be careful on those things and wear helmets!  :-)
