Answer
Liza,

I am sorry for the troubles that you are going through.  Menstrual cycles can be so crazy and get out of whack pretty easy.  Even stress can keep you from ovulating and therefore delay your cycles.  However, it is good that you doc is checking things out.  Sometimes ceasing menstruation can be caused by thyroid problems and other medical conditions.  If your blood pregnancy tests have been negative, there is a virtual 0% chance of you being pregnant (or at least being pregnant enough to have HCG in your blood which happens at implantation - 7-10 days after ovulation.)

I'm sorry that I can't give you any better insight!  Good Luck and I hope your doc finds answers soon!
