My question is how can she help her fiance understand that she need her bedroom cooler than usually so she can sleep on bed with him while he refused use extra blankets and extra clothes to keep him feel warm.
AnswerThere's a reason why pregnancy is described as "having a bun in the oven." Pregnancy raises maternal metabolism by up to 30% and this creates heat. All pregnant women feel hotter then normal.
As to her partner's refusal to recognize, validate, and accommodate her needs during pregnancy, that is something that you, or I, or most likely your friend herself can not change.
As friend, try to offer her support as it is likely that this problem points to larger, more complex psychological issues between them.
