Vaginal Itching and Swelling During Pregnancy: Causes & Relief

hello,
I am 33 weeks pregnant, for the past 2 weeks I've been haveing very bad itching right in the entrance of my vagina, also there's some serious swelling going on. the only thing I can get to stop the itching is to go w.o. underwear and wear a long flowing skirt. I was wondering if there was anything I could do about the swelling, I believe the 2 might go hand in hand

Vaginal irritation can be caused by irritants from fabrics as well as ingredients in beauty and feminine care products (such as soaps, body washes, feminine spray, bath bubbles and salts). The chemicals in these can aggravate the skin. It may also be a yeast infection. Go to your doctor to determine the cause and get treatment.
