AnswerThis pattern may be normal for you, every woman is different. The real question is whether or not you are ovulating. You can find out about that if you practice charting your fertility symptoms over the next year of so. That will help you immensely when you start trying to get pregnant.
That is what NFP is: learning the signs and symptoms that your body has for a good healthy situation for pregnancy. Basically, you must take your temperature first thing in the morning before you get out of bed. You write the number down or chart it on a graph and keep track of what it does. It will rise about .4 of a degree when you ovulate and fall back to the lower levels when your period starts.
If you did this charting you would be able to tell when your period is going to start (about 11- 14 days after ovulation) and you will be able to tell if you are ovulating. If you are not ovulating you cannot get pregnant. So this is really important information for you to have before you try to get pregnant next year.
There are websites where you can track your temperature online. There are also websites where you can get more information about taking your temperature and watching for the other signs of fertility. I recommend looking at www.ccli.org for information about NFP.
I commend you for avoiding any kind of pills to "regulate" your period because they really don't improve your health or your understanding of your fertility.
There are also some nutritional and healthy habits you should look into in order to be ready to get pregnant. Light can affect your fertility and thyroid problems can reduce it.
