Hi Debbie.  Here are two link that I think will help you.  The first one is from the Becton-Dickinson (BD), a major manufacturer of blood collection tubes.  Assuming that the place you work at is using BD tubes (most places do), I think this will help you.  It gives colors of tubes and what they are used for.
