IUI & IVF Treatment Limits: How Many Cycles & Waiting Periods?

This past Saturday and Sunday 11/22/08 and 11/23/08 I got Inseminated. I used clomid 5 pills one a day. I had a IUI about a month before this last one. How many times can I do a IUI treatment? How long do I have to wait to do a IVF? (if needed)

Usually IUI is recommended for no more than 3 times and then you can move to IVF.  However, depending on where you live, insurance coverage can vary.  Check with your insurance to see how many IUI's are required before they cover IVF.  If you're paying out of pocket, it wouldn't matter.  Good luck.
