Unexpected Pregnancy & Relationship Trouble: Seeking Guidance

Hello,
I am a 26 year old female and I just found out that I am 9 weeks pregnant. When I first told my 22 year old boyfriend he was excited because I guess a few years ago the doctor told him he was sterile and chances of children were slim to none.
I have been completely faithful to him and everything was fine until I caught him trying to contact his ex girlfriend wanting to get back together. I confronted him and he denied it, became very angry and packed all his things and left. I know he can't be sterile if I got pregnant. what is going on???

If he was told he was sterile by a medical doctor, it is unusual that you would get pregnant from him.  It's possible that he is questioning how you got pregnant and is questioning infidelity.  However, it only takes one sperm to get pregnant, so there is always a chance, and obviously it happened for you.  You may want to talk to him about being re-tested to see if his sperm count has improved which might set his mind at ease.  There are also clearly some other issues to resolve if he is running right to his ex the minute something gets difficult in your relationship.  These are some things you'll want to talk about and try to resolve, possibly with a relationship counselor.  Good luck.
