Understanding Fetal Measurements & Gestational Sac Size in Early Pregnancy

Question
I have PCOS and have been trying to conceive for years. Finally, I have become PG, but I have some concerns with fetal measurements.
6wk4d CRL was 5.1mm with + cardiac motion right on with dates then
9wk0d CRL was 21.5mm measuring at 8wk6d, but my gestational sack was 40mm and tech said it was measuring 10 days ahead. MD not concerned, so my questions are

1)Are all my CRL measurements ok for GA?
2) What can cause GS to be large at this stage in PG?
3)What is a better measurement CRL or GS?

Answer
Hello Christy,

Your meassurements are fine and right on the mark.  There are no issues here.  CRL is the best measurement for gestational age and progress.  I would recommend that you not listen to comments from the ultrasound tech.  They are not supposed to be making them anyways.  They are not doctors.
