Miscarriage & Temperature Fluctuations: Potential Imbalances & Causes

Question
i miscarried in april, during the miscarriage i stopped sweating and had a fluxating temp. (between 97.6, my normal, to 99.2). it has not stopped and seems to be worsening. my progesterone runs a few tenths over normal and my estrogen not much higher than menopause levels. is this consdered an imbalance and can it cause me to not sweat and have a fluxating temp?

Answer
Hello Rebecca from the U.S.,

Temperature regulation is most often an indicator of thyroid function, which is responsible for metabolism.  If you are having wide variations in temperature, you might want to have the thyroid tested.  In addition, fevers can be caused by many things so a thorough examination, including blood testing, should be done.
