Last month my period started on 12/12/09.
Then I had the LH surge detected on 12/23/09 on OPK
Since I just got my period on January 11th, 2010, I think I ovulated on 12/29/09.
How could this be? Have I ovulated last month?
I thought ovulation occurs 36 hours after the LH surge.
Can an immaure egg be released from an ovary? or only a mature one? just curious..
I know I have endometriosis because I have high estradiol level.
My period just started yesterday and I see barely no blood on my pad. And it's only my 2nd day of period.
Do you think my endo is getting worse?
I am very worried. Trying to conceive for last 2 years...

Ovulation can occur 24-52 hours after LH surge. Based on the period of 1/11/10, your day of ovulation would have been 12/28. OPK's are not exact enough so I can't explain the discrepancy.
Only a mature egg is released from the ovary at the time of ovulation.
High estradiol levels do not necessarily coincide with nor make the diagnosis of endometriosis. Endometriosis can only be diagnosed by pelvic laparoscopy.
The amount of flow does not correlate with endometriosis either.
If you have not gotten pregnant in 2 years, there is definitely something going on and you are technically and "infertility" patient. I would recommend that you see a fertility specialist and begin an infertility evaluation to find out what is going on so that you can receive the appropriate treatment. Ovulation does not seem to be the problem since you have regular cycles, so it must be something else in the body's 9 step process to become pregnant.
