AnswerHello Shantilal from India,
You need to stop seeing the doctor that you are seeing. They are completely and utterly wrong. your daughter's FSH is elevated because she does not have full ovarian function yet! That won't occur until she starts going through puberty, and her growth spurt is yet to come. In fact, she won't stop growing until she completes puberty, at which time the area of the bone that is the growth area will fuse. Height is usually based on genetic factors. Are you and/or your husband short? The only other factor that could influence her height is if she has a genetic abnormality or she goes through premature puberty due to an endocrine disorder. In the latter case, you would notice it because she would be physically developed already. I think you are being misled and needlessly worrying. Find a better and more competent doctor. If you are really concerned, and this does not help you, you should seek out a pediatric endocrinologist (a subspecialist in pediatrics).
