QuestionHi doctor. I am now 30 yrs of age and have been TTC through ART for 2 years.I have endometriosis Grade3-4, I had 2 failed IVFs last year, because of implantation failure, after that I conceived naturally and miscarried at 8 weeks due to no HB.
I am trying for 3rd IVF now with different RE. She treated me for latent uterine TB, PCR is now negative.
I would like to know what cud be the reason for failures and what other tests and measures can be taken to rule out any gaps.
I am also taking Thyroxine 50mcg. Should I get tested for Thyroid antibodies or any other tests?
Last year my Prolactin was normal but now it is 25pg/ml and doc has given Cabergoline to be taken once a week.
She has prescribed Humog 450-600IU daily, folic acid, baby aspirin, lupron 15-20IU, Dexamethasone, Rantac and Lycopene.
Can Heparin help in any way? My last RE had included Heparin in 2nd IVF cycle but that too failed.
Pls suggest.

In terms of why your previous cycles failed, I cannot answer that question. I would need to do an extensive review of your medical records from those two cycles and that is not possble on this venue.
In terms of other testing, again, I cannot answer that question because it is a protocol question. Each clinic, doctor and program have different protocols for testing, preparation and treatments in an IVF cycle. I do not routinely do anti-Thyroid antibody testing.
I use Heparin in any patient that has a previously failed IVF cycle. That is my protocol and is not a universally accepted protocol, meaning not all doctors or programs agree or use heparin. You'll have to have confidence in the doctor you are working with. If you don't agree with them, the you need to find a doctor that you have full confidence in.
