Lupron & IVF: Timing After Endometriosis Treatment - What You Need to Know

I was put on Lupron for three months for endometriosis my question is how soon after lupron treatment can I begin IVF/ICSI if I started right away can it result in no eggs? When could I safly start

Hello Emily,

You can start from the fourth month after the Lupron injection, which would be the soonest, but most docs would prefer to wait for your ovary to reset and for you to have a regular cycle.  It will not affect pregnancy because we give you the hormones that you need.  These are the hormores that were being blocked by the Lupron at the brain level.
