Answer
Hello Maleeha from Pakistan,

First, you DO NOT NEED a laparoscopy at this time.  A hemorrhagic cyst will resolve on its own.  I usually with recommend using the birth control for one month and if it is a hemorrhagic cyst, then it will resolve.  If it does not resolve, then there is the possibility that it is an endometrioma, or endometriotic cyst.  In this case laparscopy would be required to remove the cyst and treat any endometriosis that is present.  If endometriosis/endometrioma is found, then IVF would be the treatment of choice and ICSI should be done because of the sperm abnormality.  It would give you the highest chance for pregnancy in the shortest period of time.

If it is not endometriosis, then IUI would be the treatment of choice, assuming you do not have any other problems such as blocked tubes (this is determined by a test called an HSG-hysterosalpingogram).

Good Luck,
