Testicular Injury and Infertility: Causes and Concerns

Hi I'm asking a question behalf of my husband. I want to know what
causes infertility. I started wondering this after my husbad got hit in his
teticles with a very hard small ball and now there is a lump on the left
testicle can that cause infertility and I would also like to know more
causes of infertilitiy for both men and women

Hello Josie,

First of all, don't jump to conclusions.  Getting hit in the testicle does not cause infertility, but can cause other problems and your husband should go see a urologist and be examined.  If he wants, or you want, he can do a semen analysis to check, but I don't think that is necessary at this time.  In terms of the causes of infertility, it is an extensive list and would require a lecture to go over.  With some more internet searching, I'm sure you'll find a good reference to give you that information.  Then if you have any questions regarding specifics, I'll be happy to answer them or clarify them.
